education.

“Education is the light that guides one’s civilization.” ~ Living Buddha Lian Sheng
The importance of a quality education cannot be emphasized enough.  Education is the key to success in life, creating opportunity and giving people the tools to achieve their dreams.  We believe that every person has a right to a quality education.

Funding priorities:

Early Learning (from birth to 5 years old) ~ In the foundational years of a child’s education, it is crucial to get off to the right start.  We  believe  that preparing young children so they are ready for school emotionally, intellectually  and socially leads to better academic achievement down the road.

High School ~ A high school diploma is no longer sufficient in today’s marketplace.  We seek to improve high  school education so that more students graduate and seek higher education.

Postsecondary Education ~ We look for ways to increase access to quality postsecondary education and explore how we can  raise enrollment, retention and completion of higher degrees by low-income youths.

Please refer to the Grant Process and Guidelines page to apply for education funding.
